Queer Writing Group | is a nomadic writing group that creates a safe space to write and experiment with themes, forms and writing processes that differ from more mainstream writing conventions.

Through a variety of writing exercises and experiments, we seek to challenge our writing in a playful way. From dialogues to collage texts to something that has no name yet... We write, read and discuss without judgment. The experiments are easy-to-access, although we don't always know where we’ll end up. Writing experience is not required, audacity a little bit...

Queer Writing Group is not a course or a place to get professional feedback on your manuscript. It’s rather a playground where you can mess around and experiment to find your own (queer) voice, while writing together.
During the sessions we talk in English, but everybody can write and read in their preferred language.

Who are we?We are two writers, Laika Planchenault and Pieter Delfosse. We enjoy messing around as writers ourselves and are convinced that any quest is more interesting with others. After all, we believe in the value of writing together to break out of the confines of our own minds.

The Queer Writing Group is hosted by Laïka Planchenault and Pieter Delfosse, in collaboration with RITCS School of arts, Passa Porta and VONK & Zonen.
It is also part of the RITCS research project Writing queerly: Developing an authentic writing voice by playfully breaking the rules, by Pieter Delfosse.
